Going To Bkok Immig.office. Please Advs Best Hotels In Vicinity?

Would someone please advise which are the better hotels near the Bangkok Immigration Office?, hopefully ones that are not too expensive.

I need to visit the Bangkok Immigration Office for probably one or two days.

I do not need luxury accommodation because I plan on only one night.

I just need a clean quiet hotel with English speaking staff who are helpful, a hotel which can arrange a car for 1/2 day perhaps.

The closer to the immigration office, obviously the better I would guess.

A hotel which can arrange free pick up at Bkok domestic airport would be good.

And any procedural oddities regarding getting to the immigration office at a particular time would be helpful

Probably the closest 4 star hotel is the Novotel Impact Arena

Otherwise the Amari Don Mueung (old airport hotel) has pretty good rates. Also Miracle Grande or the Rama Gardens which has a certain jaded charm & must be pretty cheap nowadays.

Any of those could put you in a public taxi to immigration. There are usually queues of taxis there so you don't need to hire a car to wait for you.
