there was plenty of water wasted 2weeks ago[songkran] who wants to be a poor farmer.

next will be a shortage of fresh local produce.

Here in T. Paded, off Chiang Mai/Hang dong road the rice fields are cut, but there is no water flowing to flood land, work and replant. A couple of paddy's got 4 crops last year, but looks like we may see a water shortage, even though the government says all is good to go.

Maybe they're holding back on giving water to the canals to help reduce those massive stockpiles a bit

We are going to need some rain for sure! Not much rain last year. Of course the government does not want to tell anyone there is a water shortage...
