Sorry I'm sure questions have been asked 10 times but I couldn't find it.

I just made from kl a ed visa single entry, what should I do now to have a multiple entry as I need to leave overseas every 3 months, and what is the costs? At embassy they say go to immigration and make multiple entry but I am still lost, please support. Thanks again.

On what basis was the ED visa issued? For part time study normally only a single entry is available and you then extend stay every 3 months or more for study at immigration. For travel you obtain re-entry permits.

You not get a multiple entry visa you will be getting an extension of stay (1900). To travel you would need to then get a re-entry permit a single costs 1000 baht and multiple 3800 baht that would be valid for the length of your extension..

What type of re-entry permit you get will depend upon the length of your extension. If only for 90 days it would not practical to get a multiple re-entry permit. A multiple would only be advisable for a 12 month extension.

Yes unless you get a single re-entry permit that would allow you to leave and re-enter up to the date of your current permit to stay and only getting a permit to stay equal to the one you now have.

To stay longer than the 90 day permit to stay you got from your visa you will need to get an extension of stay from immigration.
