The Phuket Vegetarian Festival is an annual event held during the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar.

One discussion forum had this: Last year I was there for the festival in Phuket town. They announced that 2013 will be oct 5 -13.

Most likely in October as the " dscussion forum" announced but I have also seen one or another webpage announced September 26 - October 5.unsure.png

I did a google search a few weeks ago, because I’m trying to plan a holiday around it. Pretty much everything I saw, said last week Sept. first week Oct. but no confirmation to exact dates that I could find.

What does Confucius say?

the thing is 6 months away!

if posters are that keen for a meal of cabbage and carrots that they need to start a discussion now, perhaps they need to read the things to do in phuket thread.
