At what department (or section) of the airport do we go to pick up my T.G.'s family pet dog and cat that are going to be shipped as live-animal cargo on a local (in-country) Thai-Airways flight?

Where is the best area to park in order to get there?

since you have had no answers Karin at care for dogs in Caing Mai would tell you if you contact her through the website, she flies dogs to and from Chaing Mai and Bangkok regularly with Thai. http://www.carefordogs.org/ will also PM her e mail.

If you're lucky, it will be delivered to some special area.

A number of years back, at Don Muang, although there was supposed to be a specific and special delivery area, my dog's travel cage - mid-sided, not a tiny thing - came out on the regular luggage carousel. Needed help from someone there to lift it off!

10 months ago we had a dog shipped from Bangkok to Chiang Mai by Thai air. To receive the dog we only had to go to air cargo building at the airport. Ample free parking. In and out under 10 minutes.
