According to the forecast, yes. And sometimes they're right, so it could happen.

Who can I talk to to get this bad weather postponed? Its just that I arrive tomorrow and would much rather we have a sunny holiday with not so much wind.

Transfer 10,000 Baht to my bank account and I'll do what I can.

Supposed to be the worst weather of the year how many speedboats and ferries will go down? just waiting to read the headlines.

Let's not behave like tuktuk drivers for our visitors.

Here we go. Bono estente.

I love wet and windy. Sick and tired of hot and humid. tongue.png

Winds gusting really strong right now on Chao Fa West near the circle.

Getting started in Kamala.

These live reports are actually quite fun. Still the latency between Kamala and Ao Por is about 10-20 minutes in both ways, depending of the year.

Just hit Kata - heavy rain, about 200m visibility.

Can't see a thing in Chalong.

Oh joys. The cooler weather resulting will be nice for myself and my wife flying in tomorrow from chiang mai....

I just hope we have some dry spells too in the 9 days we are there.

Only 2 minutes power outage, that's a progress compared to last time (maybe i'm talking too fast...)

Waterbuffaloes just started to fall from the sky at Ao Por.

Very heavy rain with some thunder in the background.

My power was out in Rawai for almost 2 hours.

I can only immagine the mud and crap thats going to be left when the water drains away....bah.gif

You can always get there and see it yourself?

Thanks, but have seen it all too often over the years..i will stick with immagining it coffee1.gif

The flooding gets worse every year it looks like in Patong. Block up all the khlongs so greedy people can build, along with no civic planning or civil engineering and what do you get? A world renowned international first class tourist resort! laugh.png

This just increases the amount of hotel room with direct access to the pool. Go Phuket!

Just came back from Patong, i think it was the worst flood in at a least a year.

After the worst was over i was able to drive back home via the beach road.

Luckily no problems that i saw.
