June 25, 201312 yr This is for a five year driving licence I renewed my driving licence and was charged 605B. I got two receipts, one for 505B which is for the licence and a second receipt for 100B (including 7% VAT) which is for a photo. I did not ask for a photo and neither was I given a photo. A digital photo of me was taken for the licence though. Is this the correct fee nowadays?
June 25, 201312 yr sounds bout right to me, the 100b is for the digital photo and print onto the license.

The 505b is for the licence, the 100b is for the plastic smart card. PAY THE FEE / TAKE A PHOTO AND PRINT DRIVING LICENCE (FEE 505 BAHT AND PLASTIC SMART CARD 100 BAHT) ADDITIONAL (CHANGE NAME OR ADDRESS CHARGE 50 BAHT) http://www.dlt.go.th/th/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3471:renew&catid=131:2011-09-08-02-09-23&Itemid=88
June 25, 201312 yr I renewed and got my 5 yr license in Chatujak. Was charged 405b by a very nice and friendly lady. Checked my receipts at home and they totalled 305b in total. (may have been 505b and 405b respectively, was 2 years ago.)
June 25, 201312 yr My take is the 550 is the licence fee and the 100 baht is for the production of the actual plastic license? But....
June 25, 201312 yr Popular Post Price is correct (what I paid), and furthermore, as long as you got an official receipt, no worries. Why are people getting nervous about 100 THB?
