Hello there,

I am offered this job in Thailand and the company sent papers to the Thai embassy asking them to grant me 90 days Non Immigrant visa B - Now the question, is it possible to book a one way ticket to Thailand or that's dangerous?!

No problem with a one-way ticket when you have a visa of any type. In the rare event that the check-in person doesn't know this, ask the person to consult a supervisor.

He is correct .... their used to be a Law requiring the Airlines to pay peoples way back home if they were refused entry so the airlines had a reason to care about 1 way tickets , they changed the Law and not only do you not need one but they don't care anymore anyhow because of the Law change.

That Law has noting to do with the real reason you don't need a return ticket but just why they don't care if you do or not.

Incorrect.

You don't need a ticket out of Thailand when you hold a visa for Thailand. People who don't hold a visa do need a ticket out of Thailand within 30 days if qualify for visa exempt entry and within 15 days if qualify for visa on arrival. (If you do not qualify for one of these and do not hold a visa, you will not be allowed to board).

Airlines are fined per pasenger and need to bare the cost of ttransporting them back to point of origin.

Yes I hold a non immigrant visa type B for work - so this means it is safe to travel on a one way ticket and I have an itinerary for a return flight just in case. Is that good??
