Bensark,

What exactly are you looking for?

If you want a visa so your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/partner can come to live with you in the UK, then you apply to the British embassy in the country where they are currently resident (presumably Thailand) using form VAF 2. The fee is £260, payable in local currency. The form can be downloaded from Application forms and guidance on the embassy website. If applying in Thailand then a TB certificate must accompany the initial application, see here.

If they entered the UK as your fiance or proposed civil partner and the marriage or civil partnership registration has taken place and you wish to apply for Further leave to Remain, then you need form FLR(M).

If they entered the UK as your spouse and the spouse visa is about to expire, or if they have FLR and this is about to expire, then you need form SET(M).

Both forms can be downloaded from Application Forms on the IND website.

The cost of both FLR and ILR is £335 by post or £500 in person.

The set(F) application form is used to apply for indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a family member (other than husband or wife or unmarried partner) of a person present and settled in the United Kingdom, that is:

* A child under 18 of a parent, parents or relative present and settled in the UK

* The adopted child under 18 of a parents or parents present and settled in the UK

* The parent, grandparent or other dependent relative of a person present and settled in the UK

It is not a form that you can use for your girlfriend.

The set(M), set(O), set(F) application forms are used by people already in the UK, when applying for settlement.

See Home Office application forms for more information.

As GU22 indicated, if your girlfriend is outside of the UK when she applies, she would have to use one of the Embassy's application forms that is appropriate to her situation.
