CIMB or UOB

I need another bank account for smaller transactions incl stock portfolio, done online, no active trading , l.t. investment for wife

Anyone with experience with either one, what can you say?

Easy of use?

I have used UOB for last 5 years.

Good service with a pleasant attitude from staff.

Previously with Bangkok Bank and then Kasinkorn.

Keeping matters polite

I used to swear by both now I swear at them.

Two long term ex pat Businessmen, 30 years plus in Thailand, I know recommended UOB.

It's the Thai Branch of United Overseas Bank of Singapore and they based their recommendation on it's Good name and heavy Singapore influence.

No disrespect but folk would not believe the treatment I had first with BBK Bank and then one year later from Kasinkorn.
