When I reverse my truck there is always a clear danger that I will run over and crush a small creature or person. My track record is none too good on this issue.

So I wondered if I could retrofit one of those reversing cameras mounted on the windscreen visor which the moore modern trucks have?

Anyone know if it's possible to purchase one and perhaps have it fitted here in Samui? And costs? Thanks

I bought one from a neighbour - his daughter is bringing them onto the island.

1,900 baht. Basic but does the job.

You can borrow it if you want to try it first. Let me know

I had one on a Toyota KLUGA in Australia. It was a standard feature so maybe you could talk to your local Toyota Dealer and see if you can buy one as a "Spare Part". This was fitted so that it operated as soon as you select Reverse Gear.

By the way, I think what is called a Toyota Kluger in Australia might be the "Fortuna?" in Thailand.

Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone. The truck is an Isuzu. I will try the place recommended by Big C and S. Jimmy as I am not up to fitting myself!

Also get a tracking devise fitted that way if your vehicle is stolen when you leave it parked at Surat airport it will notify you it's moving.not expensive about 4,000bt
