brightness Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Hello, I have an appointment there tomorrow morning but have absolutely no idea where it is! I though I'd find a map on the web but no luck! Each time I search for thai road names on Google Maps it can't find it, so perhaps you can provide me with GPS coordinates or eventually a Google Maps link would be truly awesome, thanks!!!!!
TOQ Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 If I am not mistaken it is right outside the entrance to Yensabai Condo. Last office in the building across the street from the entrance 1

brightness Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 (edited) Its here http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Where+is+the+Embassy%2FConsulate+of+Austria+in+Pattaya%3F We must have different results, because the only info I got from this search is the following address: 504/526 Moo 10, Soi 17, 2nd Road, Pattaya City Chonburi 20150 Thailand Which Google Maps (or even Bing Maps) seems totally incapable to find! We could not find 504/526 Moo 10, Soi 17, 2nd Road, Pattaya City Chonburi 20150 Thailand Make sure your search is spelled correctly. Try adding a city, state, or zip code. ... The Consul's name is Rudy and he runs Pattaya-RentaRoom which is the office adjacent to the one room consulate. Edited August 8, 2013 by Rimmer Please DO NOT post in strange Fonts
brightness Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 Thanks for the info, no need to scream!
susanschwaiger Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) Does this Consulate issue Austrian visa too ? (I mean, can people submit visa application here, instead of going to BKK...) Edited August 8, 2013 by susanschwaiger
brummiebob Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I don't think any online mapping service can pinpoint to the house address in Thailand yet Its herehttp://lmgtfy.com/?q=Where+is+the+Embassy%2FConsulate+of+Austria+in+Pattaya%3FWe must have different results, because the only info I got from this search is the following address:504/526 Moo 10, Soi 17, 2nd Road, Pattaya CityChonburi 20150ThailandWhich Google Maps (or even Bing Maps) seems totally incapable to find! ALFREDO Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Does this Consulate issue Austrian visa too ? (I mean, can people submit visa application here, instead of going to BKK...) First sentence, NO!

Am not sure if my understanding is wrong. Normally, a consulate issues visa and carries out other important functions. Otherwise, why it is called a consulate, ho ho ho
brummiebob Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Honorary consulate in some case is just a glorified notary public. Anyway, I'd always think that Mr. Rudolf looks like a character out of a James Bond film 1
brightness Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 I saw him this morning, what's so special about him?
