Broken 11,6inch screen.

Featured Replies

Hi,

The screen of my acer is broken. I took it out already but now i have to find a new one. Online i can only find them in the us or europ.

Does someone mayby know of a online shop here in Thailand or a place i bkk where i can go for a look.

Have to go next week to bkk anyway.

Went to a couple of places here in Sisaket but they weren't very helpfull.

Thanks in advance

Tom

Asking in some of the laptop repair shops on the upper floors of Panthip Plaza might be your starting point.

ACER has a service center at Fortune Tower, 3rd floor. Also shops along 3rd and 4th floor selling display screens.

Fortune Tower is directly over the RAMA-9 Subway station (MRT)

There are also many places in Zeer Rangsit selling laptop spares both new and used.

If you're coming to BKK I would suggest a good look there too. Bring the machine with you and they'll install and test for a nominal fee.

Just curious - did you buy your Acer in Thailand - if so, where - and about how much was it?

Been looking for a larger sized tablet, but no-one seems to have any. Maybe you can help.

The headline of the OP said 11.6 " screen so I'd guess a netbook, not a tablet.

^Oh - OK. I just looked at my tablet - and it has a screen whistling.gif or maybe it's called something different, nowadays....biggrin.png

Anyway, you're could obviously be right about it being a laptop - or maybe it's a desktop screen - or a .......
