Water pump for a Kubota tractor

Featured Replies

Hi folks

Does anybody know of an attachment which you can fit to the back end of a Kubota tractor to pump water out of a dam. I've visited Kubota in Udon Thani and they say " they don't have", But people keep saying to me, "why don't you use your tractor for pumping water out, it will be quicker than the normal portable water pumps or the little thai tractors"

So is there a system / attachment you can attach to the back of a Kubota out there.

thanks for help

What you are looking for is a PTO trash pump. It needs to be a trash pump for obvious reasons.

thanks for the reply, does anyone have a photo of trash pump and where could I possibly buy one. Thanks

I have an ancient Kubota engine and a "belt drive" to a 2 or 2.5 inch pump that we use to water the corn. I also have another kubota on a kwai lek with a pump and in a pinch I had an attacment that went on the back (PTO to a belt drive))of my small (very old) kubota tractor that I bought in Wichianburi. The tractor uses too much fuel and I don't want to ware it out. You need to find a store for small used tractors and farm implements or just have one made. I have run pumps 1.5 inch to 4-5 inch with belt drive off of kubotas.

This what your looking for,buy a pump to mount to top of frame.
