I will be coming to Thailand 25th August i.e. Sunday. Last year I got 3 x 60 days visa. It was issued 11 October 2012. I did 2 border runs then came back to the UK 13th Feb. So to my way of thinking when I come on Sunday I should get stamped in for 2 months but I just seen " must be utilized before 11 April 2013 ". Does that mean that all 3 entries must be used up by then or the visa must have started to be used? I am thinking my way of thinking is wrong and the visa should have been used up with 3 entries, if so I have dropped one as I am coming for 4/5 months and was prepared to fly in/out a few times but if I am only going to get 30 days on arrival instead of 2 months it will add a bigger than budgeted for expense.

Thanks for any input.

The triple entry tourist visa you got last year is no longer valid for travel to Thailand. Get a new tourist visa for your next flight to Thailand, unless you have a ticket for a flight out of the country within 30 days after arrival.

I have a question. If the utilized before date on a non imm (or any visa) is Sept 3rd 2013, can i enter the kingdom on Sept 3rd? Or is sept 2nd the last day to enter on that visa?

I know with the permission to stay stamp, you can leave on the same day stated as the expiration date.

They seem to allow entry until midnight of the date indicated. Have not seen any reports of this being questioned for many years. It is badly worded in English.

You can enter on the enter before date. But always best to plan on the day before just in case something went wrong on that last day.

absolutely. I usually do it 1-2 days prior. Especially the visa expiration.

If you go to immigration for a 30 day extension you might want to say a prayer that they don't notice your visa was expired.

They can hold you responsible for not reporting the error.
