Quiet beaches?

Featured Replies

Hi, sorry if this has been done before and I'm half expecting the typical ThaiVisaForum response of "it'll never happen", "you've got no chance give up now", "it's not as easy as you think, in fact its impossible" etc etc but thought I'd give it a go anyway...

Are there any beaches close by (I'm in Rawai) which remain relatively unknown, or are so small that not many people go there? I'm looking for a place to do some yoga, tai chi and qi gong and it helps if there's not much activity or where just a handful of people go so the screaming kids are to a minimum.

South of the Island would be ideal, but wouldn't mind going a little further if need be.

Cheers, happy Sunday.

Ao Sane, Yanui, Nui Beaches. All in the south and quiet.

Nai Harn used to be fairly quiet especially to the left. I don't know what it is like now.

if you want really quiet, go on the bay side, just off vichit road just over the brow of the hill on the rawai beach side, there is a sign for the name of the area but i can't remember it right now, maybe it will come to me later

head up to the northern end of Layan beach. ( weekdays only) Its fantastic up there but a bit of a drive for u

Nice beach certainly and go there often, but it's not really quiet, even down the left by the lagoon.

Thanks for your suggestions guys.
