second opinion on dental work

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

A hygienist I recently saw here for a cleaning said that I would need to have a number of fillings. It has been a long time since I was told I needed any fillings at a regular checkup, and once or twice in the past I have had one dentist tell me I needed a filling and then another say it was not so. In light of this, I would like to get a second opinion before committing to get the work done. Are there any dentists in Bangkok that offer a consultation for free or for a nominal charge? (Prefer to find one in the area where I'm staying - nana/asoke - if possible).

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Why should Thai dentists want work for free or for a nominal charge? Would you? Their charges are already pretty modest compared to Western countries.
