Popular Post animatic Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 That Kuhn T. has no concept of irony, let alone shame of any sort. 22
Popular Post Tatsujin Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 The jokes continue. Are they still claiming that Thaksin ISN'T running the country or have they finally admitted that he IS running it from afar? 9
Popular Post Tatsujin Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 That Kuhn T. has no concept of irony, let alone shame of any sort. Dictators are usually lacking in those qualities. 6
Popular Post Pib Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 Please tell me this news article was satire. 3
Popular Post gl555 Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 Poor deluded fella is getting desperate. He's no more in the news as much so he needs a stunt like this to show he's still the boss. Pathetic. 8
Popular Post siampolee Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 The truth be known Thaksin is getting increasingly annoyed at the skimming off of the corruption income proceeds before they reach him his clan and their brown nosing acolytes hence the order to tackle the kickbacks It's not about stopping corruption it's all about ensuring that the aforementioned characters get their full commission payments. Give Thaksin credit where credit is due indeed a cunning stunt. 7
slapout Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Taksin must have been reviewing the various travel warning posted by several countries. Maybe he is upset that not enough is going uphill and wants more of a cut. After all, he did not tell him to get rid of the practice itself. Wonder who is on his payroll at the newspaper which throws out the Thaksin name and some little piddling worthless piece of info about same, on such a frequent basis? 2
Popular Post billd766 Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 Why is a criminal fugitive defacto PM telling the national police chief of Thailand what his job is? 10
monkeycountry Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 "In his reply, Adul said he was already aware of the issue as the prime minister had instructed him to root out corruption." The end! - literally 1
Popular Post EyesWideOpen Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 Great stuff if you like irony. Thaksin has taken corruption to levels undreamed of by past piggies at the trough. Now he wants to end it ?? Too funny for words. Sometimes I feel like I am living in the Twilight Zone here. Where the absurd becomes reality..... 7
itchybum Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 'Adul said he was already aware of the issue as the prime minister had instructed him to root out corruption.' Delays in communication from skype can happen
bigbamboo Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 'Thaksin tells police'. There you have it folks! No ifs, buts or maybes any more........ the man himself has let us know who the real boss is and presumably who is actually working the puppet Tarit at the DSI. No wonder Mark is taking their charges as seriously as Toss, the Red Bull delinquent. 2

NongKhaiKid Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Why is a criminal fugitive defacto PM telling the national police chief of Thailand what his job is? And why is the national police chief taking these orders, as if we didn't know ? This country is becoming more ridiculous by the minute. 1
NongKhaiKid Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Poor deluded fella is getting desperate. He's no more in the news as much so he needs a stunt like this to show he's still the boss. Pathetic. Hot on the heels of the emergency supplies handed out in Prachin Buri in his name and in case anyone didn't understand his photo was on every packet and giant ones on the vehicles. 1
khunsuar Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 So this means that Toxin probably originally condoned the idea of lower echelon kickbacks but now has reversed himself because he finds himself now at the end of he trickle down? 1
IMA_FARANG Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 You got it. He simply wants little sister placeholder to make sure the kickbacks go to him more directly. Believe it may be her time to make another fact finding trip to Montenegro and visit a couple of banks. 2
scorecard Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Why is a criminal fugitive defacto PM telling the national police chief of Thailand what his job is? #2: Why is Banrhan suddenly front and centre in the flood photo ops, giving comments and suggestions, and saying he's going to take over some of the PMs duties, and he's unelected and holds no officially appointed position? Strange stuff indeed. 1

Popular Post soi41 Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 Stuff like this, is what makes it difficult to explain to family and friends, what kind of country we are living in! Yes, they understand when we tell them about the heat, the floods and the red tape! But how to explain the mindset of a country, where a fugitive criminal gives order to the chief of police? Or where someone manages to collect 9M baht in "debt" from a past life? Tell this to your friends, and they will listen politely, and think to themselves that you have spend to much time in the sun or had to many Changs. And this is just the newsclippings for one day !! 8
BuddyPinkham Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Just another case of the WOK calling kettle black!
gemini81 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Dubai: the HUB of claims (from one slant eyed little weasel of a gangster.)
Misterwhisper Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 The master of kickbacks and "donations" (remember that 2-million-baht-cash-in-a-lunchbox-story?) and fugitive criminal telling a police chief to do away with a long established tradition? What do you call that, "preaching to the choir" or "the pot calling the kettle black"? Hypocrisy par excellence!
ggold Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 You got it. He simply wants little sister placeholder to make sure the kickbacks go to him more directly. Believe it may be her time to make another fact finding trip to Montenegro and visit a couple of banks. It could be that's the real reason for the foreign trips. to help stash the proceeds. You can hide anything in diplomatic pouches! 1
Popular Post worgeordie Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 If Thaksin wants to give the police chief orders, I think he should come here and do it in person ! regards Worgeordie 3
Popular Post lawrence1366 Posted October 2, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2013 This is one of the main reasons why I keep reading ThaiVisa every day to have my daily dose of jokes and laughter.... 4
harber8 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Now he's back in China, maybe the recent crackdown on corruption there has had an effect on him. If that is the case he needs to speak to more than just the police!!
aussieinthailand Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 That Kuhn T. has no concept of irony, let alone shame of any sort. HOW SO?? what is the crime's he has been convicted of? Is it The Shin Corporation in which Thaksin own a large portion of, he moved his holdings to his servants and driver, then to his kids and to family, this went to court and the court ruled in his favor, which means,,,NO crime... or are you referring to the shocking crime of repaying the IMF monies borrowed by a previous government before the due date?,,, NO crime there, or maybe you mean during his time as PM BKK was booming, is that what you mean? or maybe working with Myanmar's Junta to stop the drug trafficking?,,, is that what you mean?
