October 11, 201312 yr Ulster took the points in a great game Tigers got a bonus, which on reflection, they probably thought they should have won. Connacht put up a great fight against sarracens, but ultimately stopped short of the try line.
October 12, 201312 yr Boo hoo. How Munster could make so many mistakes and still have a chance of winning is quite remarkable. However, apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half, Edinburgh deserved the win.
October 12, 201312 yr Boo hoo. How Munster could make so many mistakes and still have a chance of winning is quite remarkable. However, apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half, Edinburgh deserved the win. I think that the Pro12 is quite a competitive league. Connaught were scarcely thrashed by Saracens, the best team in England. I'd have more sympathy with the English if they actually achieved anything in European rugby. In recent seasons, they've not done much better than Scotland, and certainly can't hold a candle to the Irish teams SC

October 13, 201312 yr Saw the second half of the Exeter v Cardiff game, crickey the Chiefs were impressive, the Blues got a bonus in the second half, because Chief's had two sin binned, but Cardiff, considering they had five Lion's on parade, were fairly poor.
October 13, 201312 yr Toulon v Glasgow. Frightening to watch Toulonais in the first half, but took their foot off the pedal in the second. Leinster will have to be on top of their game if they are to beat them this year, and that is just one of the French teams, Racing v Clermont later, that will also be a marker. Munster, nor Ulster are good enough I fear, and I cannot see an English team in the running, Edinburgh nor Glasgow either, not seen much of Stade, or Montpellier.

October 16, 201312 yr Are these matches televised here in Thailand? Looks like Setanta does not have this contract. Odd.
October 17, 201312 yr Are these matches televised here in Thailand? Looks like Setanta does not have this contract. Odd. Eurosport shows two or more Heineken Cup games on the relevant weekends. SC
October 19, 201312 yr Crivvens, boys, I hadn't expected that I suppose it just goes to show how the lack of relegation makes the Pro12 so much stronger. It really is unfair on our more anglo-gallic neighbours
October 20, 201312 yr Have you heard that Toulon have expressed they will stay in the present set up, hopefully it will drag other's to the listening table.

October 21, 201312 yr Crivvens, boys, I hadn't expected that I suppose it just goes to show how the lack of relegation makes the Pro12 so much stronger. It really is unfair on our more anglo-gallic neighbours How do you do that? Post a link with text? The English teams are complaining that Pro12 teams that do not have to worry about relegation have an advantage in the Heineken Cup. The English teams take their domestic competition more seriously, and are therefore at a disadvantage in the HC. They feel that teams that treat the Heineken Cup as the most important competition should not be allowed in, as they have an unfair advantage. I think that the fact of the matter is that the issue at stake is not qualification or composition of the league, which could be tweaked without anyone getting upset, but rather the division of the money. October 27, 201312 yr What's happening with Santanta on Tue Vision? True keeps cancelling rugby and showing snooker or football instead. Just cancelled live coverage of the Wasps v Leicester game!!!!!
November 23, 201312 yr What's happening with Santanta on Tue Vision? True keeps cancelling rugby and showing snooker or football instead. Just cancelled live coverage of the Wasps v Leicester game!!!!! On Astro we've now got Channel 839 which is all Setanta rugby; I can't access it, I'm told it's pay per view, but I don't know how to do that. There's enough on the other channels anyway, but they carry a few Pro XII games, so I'd pay to see Edinburgh or Glasgow. Mind, I think I can probably get any televised games on the internet, but the picture quality is not so good, and it's often intermittent. SC
January 18, 201412 yr COME ON, GLASGOW! Scotstoun hosts the European Champions, with Glasgow needing a win to get into the Amlin Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals. The pitch is in good condition, given the dreadful weather, Glasgow on the back of their first ever win in England against Exeter. SC
January 18, 201412 yr In the 64th minute Glasgow get the first try of the game, but Duncan Weir misses the conversion and it's still 15 - 8 in favour of the reigning champions. Glasgow hammering the Toulon line as the clock goes red, but Glasgow can't find a way through. Into the 82nd minute... GLASGOW! GLASGOW! and a desperate grubber kick goes into touch Glasgow 8 - 15 Toulon SC
January 19, 201412 yr Author Leicester vs ulster 19-22 what a great game and not a foul in sight a credit to the game.
January 21, 201412 yr Well that was pish, by the way. Glasgow looked like they might snatch an unlikely home draw against the reigning champions, but they didn't. And Edinburgh got thrashed in Limerick. Three Irish teams in the Quarter-Finals, three French and two English. Perhaps it's time that the English stopped complaining and started taking European rugby seriously, if they're so big and clever SC EDIT: Whitabootautomaticqualification, eh? Fair point, Imam. Some teams have an easy route to the Quarter-Finals, when they're drawn in the same group as Connacht and Zebre Ahthink ye're bein' a bit unfairthair Cowboy. Onyteam that can win in Toulouse cannae be a' bad.
