Tywais Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 My wife was watching it on TV just now and said it has flooded in her town about 20 minutes outside of Chon Buri. She said it has never flooded in her lifetime nor her parents lifetime at their place.
theoldgit Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I live in Thonglor very near the Khlong which has risen dramatically throughout the day, at least the rain has now stopped. The Khlong smells strongly of gasoline and has an oily coat, and of course littered with assorted garbage.
harryfrompattaya Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I pray for the wellbeing of Thailand. That is very nice Can you pray for my lucky number also? Please inform us who you pray to? Thanks for praying anyway
Benmart Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I have a colleague whose house in Bangkok was flooded last night I told him he must be wrong because the PTP said so 3 weeks ago, it was announced by the PM's office that there would be no flooding this year. Then last week it was announced that there may be some flooding, then today it was announced that there will be 3 more weeks of flooding. They certainly have the possibilities surrounded. Sounds like some of the weather forecasts I've heard back in the USA. Only the promises by government officials concerning the weather are unique to the LOS. Prayers and thoughts go out to those affected, both in Thailand and other countries.
