Roadworks by PSU

Featured Replies

On the shortcut road from Honda through to Kathu roadworks are currently underway through the narrow speed bump section running alongside PSU (Prince of Songkla University). It had become extremely damaged there by ridiculously allowing large trucks & buses to use it. Coming from the Honda side you now have to turn right before PSU & take the scenic route which was hardly used before. Currently from the Kathu side you can get through but have to go around one section where they are working on at present by going through some steep sois in the housing estate but this will not be possible when they work on the section which runs alongside Supercheap & 7/11 unless they renew one side of the road at a time.

From Kathu it is easier to go to Central & turn right or make a U turn just before Makro & come back to the scenic route.

The scenic route past the Chinese temple is the only way I'll go to the central area by car. Otherwise I take the bike.

Unfortunately have to drive that road twice a day.

Moving to Kathu next month! 2 Minutes to work without having to cross a busy intersection? Yeahs.....what a pleasure. biggrin.png

they open the road again... but still working on it..

I wish they would get rid of those speedhumps there. The locals drive at 2kmph. It drives me insane
