Hotels - Walking distance

Featured Replies

As I am arriving very early in the morning I am wondering if there is any hotels within walking distance from the airport, so I don't have to deal with taxis.

Cheers,

Yes the Amari it connected via an enclosed elevated walk way. No need to leave the airport.

Thanks Maprao, appreciate the info.

That's your only option as far as I know if you are on foot.

Amari ticks all the boxes and is a fair price.

Nothing else around the hotel really - apart from noodle restaurants near the adjacent railway station.

Theres the Don Muang Mansions about 15 mins walk from the Amari, good hotel, unless you have a lot of luggage, and good car park. Only about 650B per night for a good room.

Amari is a bit expensive and does not include breakfast.

The OP doesn't need this advice anymore, but I'd recommend anyone else go for the Amari. Nothing else is walkable with luggage, and the extra you'd spend on taxis would reduce the price differential of anything nearby. I stayed there with wife and daughter after a late arrival to BKK prior to flying up to CNX next day. Very much appreciated the comfortable bed and not having the hassle of getting to the airport. I normally stay in the 500-1000B range, but at about 2000B I'd stay at the Amari Don Muang again.
