October 31, 201312 yr I stay at a pretty strict forest monastery with limited access to electrical power. I need to charge my iPod which I use for learning thai. Any suggestions for solar panels in udon city or nong khai (on my way to get my visa) would be appreciated or just ask someone to bring one next time they are coming from overseas. Apologies but I won't be able to respond until my next visa run in two months. Cheers
November 1, 201312 yr A few years ago I saw in a number of places a "Solar Power Phone Charger" but haven't seen them recently, They do exist, so you will find something, Interesting there is a lot of very large solar power electricity plants popping up all over thailand

November 23, 201312 yr The already mentioned mobile solar chargers should be available in quite a lot of places. Like 3 years ago they were presented to me as a gift from a partner company - at that time they retailed in Germany around € 30.- This price has dropped to like € 10.- now So there should be no issue to find them. Bye, Derk
