Heads up, people:

If you get one of those annoying pink slips from the EMS post delivery man letting you know that you weren't home when a delivery was made, you can no longer collect that package at the main post office in Phuket Town, but rather have to go to the newly-opened sorting facility on Narison Road, opposite the Agriculture Office.

This was done in large part to alleviate the horrific parking situation at the main post office.

Good to know. Those monkeys never ring the doorbell. Door in the house always open. They are too lazy to get off their scooters. (Bell and mail box right next to each other).

Never had a problem with my postman, he beeps his horn and is always very polite, it could be worse if you get a delivery from Por Lor and you are out, there pick up office is in Thalang!!

My mailman always beeps his horn if there is a delivery.

No problem with post deliveries if at home, postman always beeps his horn and rings the door bell
