Go by bus getting scary - another bus with tourists crashes on Pattaya-Rayong road

Accident on the Pattaya - Rayong highway #36, 17th November 2013.

Any news about passengers?

Upd. Over-turned bus was carrying russian tourists.

There is already a story about this here under Pattaya News.

All the russians escaped from it , some with minor injuries.

I will still choose the bus over a minivan any day of the week in Thailand .

Russians are used to this type of thing as safety standards in Russia are on par with those in Thailand. Also, these busses involved in accidents are group tour busses and not the inter-city public buses one catches to places like Bangkok. I can't recall the last time one if those was involved in an accident and their speed is monitored by GPS now. Kinda frustrating nowadays as the drivers never go faster than 80 kph anymore.
