Sorry but you haven't answered my question. I have no issue with 16 being the age of consent, it is in my country (the UK), but I've never heard of a law where anything more than a 6-year age gap is illegal that (apparently) is the case in your country! Where is this place?

No, it is quite natural for a male of any age to be attracted to a young female that has reached sexual maturity (which usually occurs in girls at between 14 - 16 years).

Paedophiles are attracted to children who have not reached sexual maturity, often not even started developing.

Sex with a sexually mature 14 year old girl is not paedophilia, it is underage sex.

Still very wrong, but the urge is natural and normal. What's not normal is giving in to the urge.

That is rather foolish. As a medical diagnosis, pedophilia is a primary or exclusive sexual interest in prepubuscent children who are usually under 11 years old. 18 year old girls are not children and men who are attracted to them are not perverts.

Attitudes towards teenage girls and sexuality have changed quite a lot only in the last 20 years. When I was a young teenager (12 or so) in the early nineties they had this Page 3 kind of girl and I distinctly remember one girl there being 16 years old and topless. They also had this gossip mag where every summer they had a 'Miss Sunshine' competition and there were plenty of girls 15-17. There were no one making a deal of this back then. I also remember Conan The Destroyer and the main girl lead was only 14 and quite sexily dressed. This was all late eighties, early nineties.

Plenty of celebrities have dated girls that young too, also in recent time. 38 yeard old Jerry Seinfeld dated and married 17 year old Shoshanna something. R. Kelly dated 15 year old Aliyah when he was late twenties.

I see two kinds of people who often try to demonize the fact that most men can find a teen girl hot: Fathers of teenage daughters and aging feminists.

I don't think an adult should seek out teenage girls below 18 years old, but I don't see anything strange about being attracted to a sexually mature teenage girl. It is perfectly natural and up until recently many girls got married before they were 18. It is mostly a cultural thing and of course a moral question.
