What can I get at a Thai pharmacy for Diarrhea?

Yes charcoal is the go. Immodium as a second resort. To get the flora back the yoghurt to use is Yolida natural yoghurt - now being sold in Tescos and larger supermarkets. Also Greek style yoghurt - both good. Also go on an elimination diet for a while - to see if you can identify the cause.

yes lots of it. It doesn't have any negative effects and works well.

i have been taking car-bon charcoal for over 25yrs.and only needed to take 2 to stop it,even after a guts full of cider and a vindaloo curry.

Ok  NORFLOX tablets.. First of all only take if you have both vomiting and the diahoreah. I have been given these tablets 3 times on my travels by doctors in a HOSPITAL, twice in India and once here in Thailand.. My doctors all advised me to take just half a tablet  half of a 400mg  = 200 mg

once as soon as possible. half a tablet 8 hours later.. I was ''cured'' in the same days. I never had any problems with any side effects. Now I keep Norflox tablets at home.. (just in case )  I bought the NORFLOX at my local pharmacies here in Thailand.. incredibly cheap.. 120 baht..

Do not self prescribe this dtug nor take it unnecessarily/casually.

Do you have any other symptoms like fever ? Feeling fatigue? 

I have had parasite infection, yes it does give you the diarrhoea but also fever and nausea and fatigue.

 

try the carbon charcoal capsules and drink water, maybe try the bland diet Toast bananas, rice, crackers, applesauce etc.. 

 

If still have issues after trying the charcoal capsules then I would see a doctor, you could have a parasite or bacterial infection that only certain antibiotics can treat
