i need copper rivets to ground my sandles-where to get?

how many tribals and villagers did you examine for "quality-earthiness?"

Apart from the time when I am in bed, I guess I walk barefoot about 50% of the time. My son in law works the fields barefoot when he can. This is just one of these weird ideas that has arisen since people started putting barriers between themselves and nature.

There are certainly benefits to be had from walking (and running as a new sport fashion In California has shown) barefoot, less strain on the ankles,and improves the appearance of your garden gait.

i always use heavy duty flipflops. first drill small hole

put one half of the rivet in then whack the second in

proper job requires special punch-there maybe is a way to

do it with a diy punch

in my case, the gap between the 2 (plates?) is 15mm

can i buy a few from you? or tell me where i could get them?

As the OP has asked where can he buy copper rivits . The first place I would look is China Town, there are a lot of copper suppliers and workshops with lathes.

I feel it would be difficult to get a good contection to the earth living in a concrete jungle but the idea of connecting yourself to the ground rod could work.

as bare earth as long as it hasnt been insulated

asphalt will not ground you

The only videos I recall are PNG head-hunters knocking the sh*t out of each other.....

Hi Jikwan, The rivets I have are only short, they only have to join 0.55 copper sheet.Nothing like the ones shown in your video, Sorry I cant help.But many years ago, I did a copper guttering job for an old man who suffered from severe arthritis. He rang me a few weeks later and told me his arthritis was not as bad since being surrounded by his new copper guttering.

If you put copper rivets in your sandles, you better install a tracking device at the same time. Copper is very expensive and gets a high price in the recycle market. Once someone sees the rivets they will either bash you or wait until you fall asleep and steal your sandles. Hell., they rip the telephone lines off the poles where I live!

when i'm at home (i'm at home most of the time) i walk barefoot and that since 24 years. besides the thick hard skin which my pedicurist has to remove once a month i haven't realised any difference being "earthed".

I don't know your gender, your floor and your weight. But I am male, surely below 80 kg (now with diet under 70) and the floor is ceramic. The Thais mostly use shoes I don't. Even when I go on the street (mobile phone doesn't work well in the office). And I don't get anything. Very soft skin, maybe just 1-2mm thicker. Not suitable for the forest.
