Dear Editor,

I am writing to you in response to the article regarding timber trade,

http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/rapid-plantation-expansion-fuels-deforestation-ethnic-regions.html

Since our inception of Max Myanmar Group back in 1993, we were never involved in any sorts of timber related business. Our Principle is to conserve our environment rather than exploiting or destroying it. The false allegations made by the Forest Trends Group is unfounded and false. It should have made a thorough study of it’s report before publishing it. We
are truly disturbed and saddened by the report being made on the Company.

Thanking you for your kind consideration. I remain.

Sincerely Yours,
Aung Myo Saw
Spokesperson
