First class cinema at Central

Featured Replies

Hi!

I'm planing to go and see the new "The Hobbit" movie at the first class cinema at Central Festival as I don't want to see at in 3D! And so there is only the chance to do First class..

Any experiences with this movie theatre? How about screen and sound?? Big screen as for example the regular cinema 1 at Central as well or..?

How about the sound?

If I check on the online reservation page for the first class cinema all looks quite "small"...

Thnx a lot

To be honest, 3D is annoying. Try sitting in the same position for 2 hours. The minute you try to get comfortable and lay back, you can't see properly.

I always opt for non 3D version of the movie.

Agreed & my mrs being Thai/Chinese has no nose bridge so complains constantly about her glasses falling off

It costs Baht 600 & you can go sit down in the 1st class lounge to receive a welcome drink & snacks, order a drink from the menu (I usually have it sent to my seat), specify your choice of soda pop & popcorn which are also delivered to your seat in the theatre all included in the price. Snacks are not that flash but the seats are big armchair recliners & come with a blanket. Screen & sound are very good.

I have not been there for quite a while so pricing may have changed although it used to be Baht 500 before increasing a year or so ago.

went yesterday and it was great! ticket was 700 Baht but maybe this time little more expensive as the movie was 2.5 hours...

little bit annoying in my opinion that the "waitresses/waiters" always walking around and serving/bringing snacks/sodas but for the rest very good!!

and the ac is quite cold but ok therefore getting blankets!

great!!!
