The free elections are scheduled for early February. Please difine your idea of "free and fair" elections. Only the opposition will be allowed to buy votes? The "reforms" you talk about is taking away the voting rights of the people who will vote against them. Please include a link about how they want "free and fair elections." All I have seen is that they want to decide who decides the elections through their "councils." So, they want to cut out the people they don't like. Doesn't sound very democratic at all, does it? It has been this way for a while now...they are on record with this over and over. If you have a link that says otherwise, I would honestly look forward to reading it, but I don't think you will have much luck finding it. The protestors in the picture are holding...a hose. There was a threat earlier on to spray the cops with feces. Again no diligent reporting, just obfuscation. Neither side wants the rest of the world to guess what is going on. Recent secret meetings and rumors of meetings point to an escalation to which many will say...oh, the coup just sort of, kind of, almost in an unplanned way just...happened. Mai pen rai.
