I took all the documents required to upgrade my 1 year licence, passed the pull the string and brake test etc, Dr cert and yellow house book.

Everything OK according to them, but the special computer only used to process farangs is ?broken, so I have to go back, "sometime", when it is fixed, to get the new licence.

Anyone else having this problem?

I don't think any problem at all, you have already done the jump through hoops thing.

My guess it is just something the DLT computer needs to process your renewed licence with all the farangie writing on it, no worries.

They must have told you when to go back or give them a call.?

Probably right, and they did say they'll call me when it's ready. The guy told me the paperwork was all OK.
