Tesco uk are selling an Adroid tablet called a Hudl, its a steal with its incentives to buy.

It apparently runs a basic Android version so should be rootable to enable you to install an extended language app. A few posters on this forum are into customizing phones and tablets so should be able to advise the best way to go about it or you can Google Hudl forums as I'm sure a few have sprung up by now.

Tesco at moment don't have any stock,not available till after Christmas,

and they say they a bring out Hudl 2 in 2014

There are some for sale on Ebay UK at a large premium.

Hudl got a fairly poor review in Android magazine. They said there are far better tablets available for very little more

Hmmm, most of the reviews I've seen have been favorable taking in to account the price. One huge thing in its favor is Tesco Club Card holders have been able to use their Tesco bonus vouchers to help pay for it so end up getting it for half the advertised price making it difficult to beat.
