Extension (retirement) rules change?
This is uncommon however other immigration offices have their "quirks" Jomtien as one example asks folk to return to immigration 90 days after extension to check financials. This is not really enforced. In any event we play along with the rules/games each office applies. Thread closed. -

Travel Thailand's Chinese Tourism Faces Crisis as Arrivals Plummet
They come/came in droves and the very same way they will leave one day. With the Chinese, South Asians and the Middle Easterners in you scared away the (financially) better quality tourism. The Russians are here as long as Zelensky goofs around; wait for that settlement and the Russians disappear into thin air. The Chinese are a more sensitive group of business with herd character. As long as Thailand considers itself semi-divine, above the rest of the entire world, as long as Thailand First and everything else Second ......... but explain that to the Grannies and Uncles who are busy selling their votes for the upcoming municipality elections on 11 May all over the land 😉 -

Report IKEA Goes Cashless at Key Thai Stores Amid Mixed Reactions
I don't know about KFC, but I used the Burger King kiosk at Swampy and I just couldn't figure out how to order 2 burgers without the fries and drink. I wanted one to eat in the departure area and one to put in my carry on for the flight. It took an attendee to walk me back about 3 or 4 steps in the menu. Had she not been there, they would have lost out on the $20 for the 2 small burgers.- 1
