In the build up to New Year, let's remember some of the more memorable <deleted> quoted by our heroes during the past 12 months. Suppose we can also include BM stuff (although Alfie will probably piss that one biggrin.png)

I'll start with an early one from good old Whisky Nose......

" Paying £12m for Sturridge is a real Gamble" said the man who paid £16m for Zaha

I am told.... Source undisclosed to the lurking hostile supporters abound in here..... That Gareth wants to stay, he sees a long term future with the Premiership champions 2013/14, and a robust showing by Spurs in the UEFA Champions League in 14/15. Why would he want to go abroad to a club in Spain that is on the verge of a financial crisis, when he can be the face of the new Spurs in a new stadium, as champions within 3 years. Just what I have been told by someone closer to the Tottenham Board Room than perhaps many of the speculating visitors to this thread.

A couple from our esteemed Malaysian friend to his long suffering manager:

"Our players do not shoot from our own half. They should do it more often"

and

"please ensure we always wear our red kit away from home"

"Bale is not going anywhere. He will be the leading goal scorer in the Premiership for Spurs as we go on to win the title." iancnx

"You are a mid table club punching above your weight so nothing wrong your just heading back to where you belong, Brendan pretty well confirmed it by saying you are nothing without sturridge in the team, If Suarez leaves in january my dream of seeing liverpool being relegated could come truexwink.png.pagespeed.ic.pEtiH2upqe.webp"

Zlatan Ibrahimovic one of the best troll efforts of the year "Who is Sturridge?" biggrin.png

Anything he says is brilliant, a lot of his best stuff is pre-2013 though.

Any post from Alice and Carmel claiming AVB is a good manager.

Well he's won a <deleted> sight more than that ginger bloke managing your club. He's some fifteen years younger too.

Go figure.

Not defensive, just stating the facts. Moyes won a community shield off the back of Fergusons work by beating the relegated Wigan. Bravo that man!

Talking about a manager that has just been sacked and won <deleted> all at your club really doesn't give you much credit does it.

Yep.....Last season, a Cardiff player fluked one from his own half. Tan advised Malky this year that if they shot more often from their own half, they would be higher up the table!

As regards the red kit, this weekend, the soft <deleted> actually requested that LFC change kits so Cardiff could play in their lucky red kit. His reasoning apparently is that they have better home results than away! Therefore it is the red strip that is responsible!!!! You really couldn't make this guy up!!!

Why?

What i said is true and Moyes has already won something albeit the shield on the back of Fergies success ......he was the manager for this one off game and picked the team and tactics so in a one off game the credit goes to Moyes. smile.png

Indeed i think everyone was shocked you manager to inch past the mighty, newly relegated Wigan!

One of the great upsets that was. laugh.png

btw, how do you United lads feel about being pipped to a top four place by Liverpool?biggrin.png
