Hi there ,

First of all i will like to thanks for all the info stated on this forum that had helped me much during my visits to Thailand as i always have previous info on hand and everything was easier . Visited Thailand 7 times in the last 2 years .

I dedicate myself to Maritime business , me and one of my work mate we are about to stablish in Thailand - Phuket as after many years of hardworking we had been able to control our ships brokering 100% by internet and we both love Thailand . We are on our 28´s and it is a chance that we should not waste .

There is always the possibility to stand back and rewind relocating into other place ( thats what i tell my work mate because i doubt i will leave thailand once there )

Our first intention was Bangkok , but after several times there , it could be a city like Madrid , London , NY ,etc... when it comes to stress . What we are really looking is the relax enviroment of an island / seaside as i have enough stress already with my job and dont want to deal with big cities issues also as not necessary.

On our visits to phuket , that where short really , we both promise ourselfs that if one day we reach our goal that will be the place to live . And that time is about to come..........mid 2014

I have some questions that will really appreciate any advise that you gents can provide , i will post them accordingly

I live in Phuket and have since the mid 80's

its a great place to live BUT be aware

the boating industry ( sales, builiding, Fishing, renting sailing, power etc) is very established an it will be tough to break into without contacts or very deep pockets.

Thanks for your word Oilinki . Regarding the trust mentioning , will recopilate all the info stated from whoever that takes the kindest time to reply and will mix it inside my brain and create my own idea .

The "555" is just because i get to use to chat with my thai ladies and without intention to disturb was written unconciunsly . We , even having the time , will not be wasting it trolling experienced people from which i can obtain very valuable tips and opinions that will make my stay much easier and that already helped me during my trips

Thanks for your information phuketrichard , my business is based on ship owning and management , we study cargo operations viability to our customers and fix freights for them with the adecuate contacts . As our business is handled from Pc-Internet we had the lifetime chance to stablish in what i consider a paradise as Thailand means for me . Of course we will be needing to fly out for meetings regulary but it is what we had been doing during the last 3 years but from Europe

Technically, you will need a work permit, although the chances of being caught are extremely slim.
