UDD leader to open new airline

BANGKOK, 2 Jan 2014, (NNT) – A core leader of the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) will soon open a new airline from Bangkok to China.

One of the UDD leaders Arisman Pongruengrong and his wife, Rapipan Pongruengrong, announced that they were working to establish a new airline which will be called NewGen Airways. The new airline will provide air travel services between Thailand and China.

Miss Rapipan in 2013 declared her financial assets to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). Miss Rapipan had a total of 11.7 million baht worth of assets, 3.4 million of which came from her bank accounts, while the rest of her assets were in the forms of real estate and 3 personal vehicles.

The record also showed that 9.7 million baht was declared as debt, 3.72 million of the amount belonged to her husband.

Looking at their website, they state that they will be flying to 13 destinations in China. OK, nothing wrong with that as it's a lucrative market, however, they state that they only have two aircraft,, one a 737 and the other a 767.

Now this will be interesting to say the least. Expect huge delays, cancellations etc.
