FangFerang
Who knows what schemes both sides are planning. I don't; and from what we are being "told" neither do the ranks below the Supreme Leaders of either side.

whybother
Why would they shut down the trains? That's how a lot of the protesters will get to the protest locations.
soi41
A scary picture of the future Thailand under Suthep!! Not even his comrades in the revolution are informed and allowed to speak! Everything has to come from the "Master" himself!! Reminds me a little of the "Master in the dessert" Same same, but different!
retsdon
It's pretty obvious that they're just making it up as they go along. But they never did have a plan. When the original protests against the amnesty bill were successful and Yingluk blinked, the democrat party decided to throw caution to the winds and go for broke to try and seize power back from PTP by whatever means possible - lawful or otherwise. So here we are - in uncharted waters.

GazR
This is chess, not checkers. Sure Suthep's crazy - like a fox. And like the Red Shirt's in 2010, he's always had a pretty good idea of what his options are - although I doubt POW SIRIRAJ! POW KRUNGTHEP! are among them as they were for the Red Shirts. Raspberry
I don't own a gun and never really thought much about it. In the last few years in the US the debate about gun ownership has been about the rights of the people to have guns vs. having too much guns. Now in Thailand where the Military is the only group that owns a large number of firearms and has absolute power, what can the people do to defend themselves and their country, if the army decides to take over. I've never believe in guns before but this would be the only time that I understood what the US second amendment means. Ulic
My 80 year old mother and two sisters are coming to Thailand January 15 for a two month escape of the currently -35 C temperatures in Canada. This whole thing is about who will control an estimated fortune of $ 300 bn in future. I can't be more specific without breaking a certain law.
