PM Yingluck dismisses coup plot with army

The reason the military have to keep stepping in is because of 2 reasons

1. There is no mechanism in place to stop a government such as PTP from abusing power and there is no forced accountability and on top of that they consider telling lies to the Thai people as normal behaviour, once they are obviously out of control there is no other way to stop them, which is why the checks and balances need tightened up with some radical changes before another election is held - we are talking about a government that refused to accept a court ruling - that was the last straw

,

2. In any western country a government exposed as this one was would step down in shame

The military would not be involved at all and there would be no need for street protests

Also as I have said before - ban those convicted of crimes for life and not just 5 years - take a long look at the constant recycle of MP's that have been banned in the last 20 years or so - every 5 years they are back in office doing the same things over and over - get rid of them for good and eventually all the crap will get flushed out of the system
