Anyone know how to get the hash symbol (#) on a Thai/English keyboard ?

Tried googling it, but nothing suggested seems to work.

(For the spelling police: yes symbol has an m not an n, but you cant change titles once posted)

I use ALT keys for the obscure ones

ALT 35 for #

http://www.alt-codes.net

Edit : BTW you have to press & hold the ALT key whilst entering the numbers

Cheers Todd, sorted!

For any others needing this using BRITISH English keyboard language.

Use the number lock first, then hold the Alt key down, enter 35

when in doubt copy and paste.

Not all pages or circumstance allows for cut n paste to be used.

How do you think I put the hash in the question and title ?

If its not used through the keyboard, or was that too obvious for you .

Shift 3 results in the english pound sign £

Expect the keyboard loaded has an impact...I have English (US) keyboard loaded.

If you are on wind0ze you can always use the character map to paste just about any character, although not usually the simplest solution, just a last resort

If you are using windows 8.1 as I am on a Laptop bought in Thailand, then click on English US keyboard and the hash sign will work perfectly.

On British English using a Thai keyboard (full size, not laptop) I find the backslash key provides a #

Backslash, on the other hand, is ALT+92

I think I need # more than \ in my coding but haven't really counted!

If you have a 102 key extended key keyboard with the English(UK) driver loaded the # key is in the middle alphabetic row immediately to the left of the main <ENTER> key. If you shift it you will get the 'approximately' sign ~
