Looking for Hotel/Guesthouse Near to airport any good ones?

Featured Replies

Will be arriving in Phuket on March 27th but need to be in Manila on March 31st

sooooo

Instead of doing the pain in the arse..R/T taxi rides to my house in Rawai I figure rest up in a hotel near to Phuket Airport and chill out on my own.

(Mid-priced range no need resort villa) near airport for 3 nights and see the sights of the area as I have never hung out around the airport area before.

I hear the Cowboy bar near to airport is worth checking out but last time I tried it was closed,

or even Down around Nai Yang has some night life to see as well.

Best area to stay, bars and lodging recommendations will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Plan B ..

is to have my company fly me direct to Manila 3 days early and do some sightseeing there instead. Good idea if it works …

Will try

Pm To Simon thanks

Amongst the 40 odd places listed above there are some very cheap places (Simon's place is also listed) but if you just want basic inexpensive accommodation then try Nai Yang House.

I was only trying to be helpful, not sure I'll bother in future.

Airport hotel right by the turning to the first 7 11 as you keave the airport ( turning left ) chap called Marcel and his wife own it. Swimming pool . Not sure of the rates but recently renovated and a nice place to chill.

Stopped in the cowboy bar with a friend just before christmas. Owned by a young russian guy. Actually very nice bloje and giid english . nice atmosphere and good food.

He even gave my friend a lift back to Chalong as he was heading that way just as we left.

Lol , cant edit my post from the phone.

Just re read it and apparantly my english aint so good.

Dam touch screens :)
