tigerjohn Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 my wife and stepson already have uk passports but we didnt bother with the soon to be 14yr old stepson (financial reasons at the time) but now my wife has got it into her head that we should apply for his uk citizenship now rather than leave it until he is old enough to decide what he actually wants to do, can anyone shed some light on it, are we allowed to do this, will he have to give up any of his other passports etc???
samran Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 As long as he qualifies for the uk passport there is nothing to stop him holding dual nationality. Neither Thailand or the uk prohibit the holding of more than one nationality.
thequietman Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Hi, Could you tell me please the procedure for adopting a stepson. I wish to do it for my stepson and give him all the opportunities a UK passport can provide. Please pm me if that suits. Many Thanks.

Nothing wrong with that Tiger. You can never have enough especially in some parts of the world.
