An Israeli man pretended to be a good person by assisting a Russian woman back to her hotel. After he dropped her off she checked her bag and found that her property was missing so she notified the police.

PATTAYA – January 20, 2014 [PDN]; Pol.Lt.Col.Patsa Dejpakkul, detective officer, Muang Pattaya police station was notified of MISS.MARIA SHREDOVA ,24 years old Russian citizen, that a male Israeli citizen, stole her Samsung Galaxi mobile , visa card, and some money from inside her bag.

MISS.MARIA SHREDOVA told police that while she was returning to her hotel located on Pattaya Second Road when she was approached by an Israeli man who was riding by and tried to befriend her. He claimed that there were a lot of thieves about and he would give her a lift to her hotel. While she rode with him he told her to hang her bag at the front of his motorbike. Upon arriving at her hotel he left and she checked inside her bag and found that some of her property was missing, and she was sure that he had stole it so she notified the police.

After a thorough inquiry, the police wrote it their journal as evidence. The police believed that these events occur frequently with tourists, especially with women as there were many cases that had been reported before.

oh snap another one that got his/her belongings stolen. Boy that would seriously make those police work. The fact of the matter is these are the least of their concerns.

And put her handbag on the front?

I like the bit in the video where the officer asks if her Samsung Galaxy "is a 4 or 3" and she makes a mildly embarrassed face and holds up two fingers and then the officer says "4". [Which she doesn't correct].

Assuming the story is real, I feel sorry for her with all the camera flashes going and a video being taken etc... probably not the way to go.

Haven't they found a Russian who wants to work as a FPV yet?

Or is the problem getting him to wear a shirt in the station?

the israeli man was right, full of thieves, he is a member

how naive can you get ?

and what language they spoke ?

Was this motorbike on Israeli number plates? Or did this man show her politely his Israeli ID before robbing her?

Why didn't she use the "illegal" Russian taxi service most Russians use in Pattaya??? They have a Russian driver picking them up on request at almost any location and dropping them off at any location. You only have to call them and they will arrive within 15 minutes. The few Russians I know, living in Pattaya are using it.

Did you really say 'snap'?

I wonder that at the police station are no Russian translaters. And i wonder also, if in the police station living permanently some guys from the local press.

What is the purpose of that video??

To indicate a tourist city with a lot of Russians in it doesn't have a Russian speaker at the police station ?

Don't know if the tourist "police" got one.

I know one Iranian guy which act as a Russian/English translator.

What is the purpose of that video??

Nice leg's, she can have a ride on my bike anytime.

Regardless of the nationality of the perp, bozo's like him give all us "foreigners"

a bad name. Hope the BiB catch him but I kinda doubt it. She seems like a fairly

"sporting" girl from watching the video....whistling.gif

A lot of Russians lives in Israel so its probably someone that spoke Russian with her and befriended her .

Fun fact:

20% of the Israeli population speaks Russian !

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_language_in_Israel

No Man, lot of Russian Jews people live in Israel, and a huge quantity Jews people live in Russia. This is the fact, and this can explain why they speak Russian. thumbsup.gif

Whose to say the thief was actually Israeli. A smart thief would not give his true nationality.
