I made my 90 day report on Monday at Chamchurri and the information given on the Immigration website is very different to the actuality.

Opening time is given on the Immigration website as 10:30am. I arrived at 10:20 and the place was in full swing. In fact the office follows normal Immigration hours, opening at 08:30

The lady supervisor was less then helpful. She told me that as my extension was given in CW I should have gone to CW for my 90 day report. I pointed out that the Immigration website specifically tells people not to go to CW. She told me that as I was already there she would let me make the report, but only this one time.

She did not have any TM forms, only a basic photocopied information sheet.

The Immigration website also says the normal photocopies are needed (passport, visa, landing card) plus 2 photographs. Again not true, only your passport is required.

There is only 1 young and helpful girl issuing the report slips. I was 5th in the queue and had my report slip in about 10 minutes. The fact I was on 95 days was not mentioned.

I don't know how busy it would have been at 08:30

Have you got a link to the page on the immigration website that says you should now use Chamchuri instead of Chaeng Watthana?

I just Googled 'Bangkok Immigration'. It gave the choice of 2 offices to use for 90 day reporting and Chamchurri was the nearest for me.

You evidently confused Chamchurri with one the locations mentioned in this topic. Immigration services at Cheang Wattana now suspended .

They will also remain as an alternate location for doing 90 day reports after CW reopens as mentioned in a previous topic.

Other offices were mentioned but Chamchurri and another next to Chulalongkorn University were given as the only 2 to use for 90 day reporting.

Both are correct, the BOI section is somewhat separate at the end of a corridor.

If you want to keep digging on Google you should find the same site I did.

Those are the only two websites for Thai immigration (other than some local offices and airports). I didn't search I already had them bookmarked.

You were lucky you they allowed you to do the report. You might not be so lucky next time.

The entire office is only for those that fall under specific laws that are listed in the first one.

My wife took photos of the screen to decide which office was nearest and to direct the taxi driver.

Hopefully they will include the Immigration statement but it distinctly said that during the present situation only 2 offices are giving 90 reports and Chamchurri is one of them.

I'll try and post the photos later.

You are quit mistaken and others tried to explain that only if you qualify under certain laws, normally BOI, can you use ChumChuri office. The two offices stated to make 90 reports for normal visa holders is as stated in above posts and ChumChuri is not one. Read the post again.

Bpuumike, when I asked if you had a link I was referring to the text you see at the top of your computer screen where you can see the address of the web page you are viewing. It is the text that starts with www. On the page where I am writing this, for example, the text is http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/698626-90-day-reporting-at-chamchurri/#entry7331422.

Please get that page on your screen again where you saw the immigration bureau recommending the Chamchuri office for the period that Chaeng Watthana is closed. Copy that text and paste it in your next post here in this topic.

Have attached a photo of the Immigration website I visited. Unfortunately it does not show the URL and I can't find it in my browswser history.

You will notice the opening hours.

It does go on to state that 90 Day Reports can only be made at Chamchurri and (I can't remember the address) the office close by Chulalongkorn University.

Thanks. The top part of that page is the announcement about where to go during the closure of Chaeng Watthana, the bottom part, below the dividing line, a list of all immigration offices in Bangkok. The page design is a bit awkward, leading to misunderstandings like yours. It seems like the bottom part is the permanent information for that page and the top part has been added as temporary information, to be removed when Chaeng Watthana opens again.
