Not only for his blistering guitar pyrotechnics, but also for the power, delicacy, and beauty of his work. In addition, he shined as a lyricist. The body of work produced by Jimmy and the Mighty Zep is incredible. Anybody who is not familiar with his work grew up, no doubt, listening to Lawrence Welk or Abba.
