Aiport - One Day Grace

Hi

Anyone know if its still possible to get one day grace when departing from Don Mueang. My TV 60 days expries on 03.03.2014 and I wish to depart 04.03.2014.

I know in times past only at the airport, Immigration allowed one extra day.

You will not pay a overstay fine for an overstay of less than 24 hours.

You will though get a small blue stamp in Thai that says you overstayed less than 24 hours.

and the small blue stamp has any affect on future Visa applications?

i have a double TV and will return a few weeks later to utilse the second visa before it expires April 2014

My experience exactly, last year - a stern face from a supervisor, a blue stamp, no fine, and no difference the next time I came in. I won't make the same mistake again, though.
