The conclusions being arrived at despite the paucity of information beggars belief. It seems that some of the posters here have biases no different to the propoganda fed masses on both sides of the divide.

What we have here is an unspeakable act of murder through vigilantism, coupled with profound cowardice. Gangs are now roaming around and looking for victims whose only crime is to wear a wrist-band of the Thai flag. The hatred and rage behind such an act is hard to fathom, hard to imagine humanly possible. And yet there is is, in all its ugliness. And the climate of vigilante terror is fueled by three things. It is formed at UDD rallies which engage in rhetoric that encourages over the top intolerance and hatred. It is bred in cowardice, as it is done through gangs, and picking on those who don't stand any possible chance to defend themselves. And it is formed by the full knowledge that the police will never put a stop to it. But there is a forth source of fuel, and it comes unfortunately from many who observe this story. It comes from that unfortunate and sick band of individuals that would seek to justify such a monstrous act against humanity for any reasons whatsoever. As they do so, they expose themselves as sick as the perpetrators. And as dangerous. And as unspeakable.

'Anti-Govt Protester' Found Dead In Prachachuen
By Khaosod English

BANGKOK: -- The body of a man with anti-government protest outfit has been found next to a railroad in northern Bangkok.

The body was found 500 metres away from Wat Samien Nari Temple on Kampaengpetch Road, and close to Bang Khen train station.

Police estimated the deceased to be approximately 30 years old. He was wearing a black T shirt with anti-government protest logo, a wristband with the pattern of Thai national flag, and a military style black pants.

The man′s chest was punctured by 4 gunshot wounds, inflicted by unidentified type of firearms, while his face also bore some wounds and his left feet was tied by a rope. Police believe the man had been dead for 3 hours before the police reached the crime scene.

Although the man wore clothes similar to anti-government protesters, police officers cautioned that the investigation is ongoing, and his identity is not yet confirmed.

How could the protesters believe that they could overthrow a government elected by the majority, destroy the democratic system and commit countless criminal acts... without consequences?

It is time for these naive people to go back home to avoid more incidents.

Not only the majority of Thais are against them but also the whole world.

Suthep and the other leaders of this anti-democracy movement should be held responsible and punished in the toughest way for all the mess and death that they brought back to Thailand.

"There is no justification for killing anyone over political differences, if this turns out to be so after a real investigation, not knee jerk responses by wannabe forensic scientists and police investigators on a internet forum."

Excactly! - Reading through all posts in this thread - none of the (in their own mind) "smart" posters have been intelligent enough to figure that there could have been many reason for him to be killed. For all we know - he might not even be anti government. Noone knows if he himself dressed him in the attire or if his murderer(s) did it as a diversion.

Shinawatra democracy at work again.

RIP

.

Or maybe a drugs deal gone wrong, or maybe a family dispute. Who knows. Let's wait for the police investigation to run its course before jumping to conclusions.

Ah shriek 2010 2010 coup coup coup.

No coup attempt = no muppets following a fascist = no violence.

Fighting FOR democracy is not frowned up on anywhere outside N Korea or Burma. Cry Thaksin all you want.. it's already fallen on deaf ears at the Army..

Meanwhile, still no detail on Sutheps Poodles Council. Other than he will appoint them and tell them what to do or else!!! We know nothing about it. :)

Red supporters, Cambodians

STOP THE KILLING of innocent people.

Yingluck, their blood is in your hands.

Stop spewing nonsense. "Cambodians"...congratulations, you have joined the Thai community of racists, xenophobes and rabble-rousers. If you're really from Greece--widely recognized as the cradle of critical thought--you should bury your head in shame for your transgressions.

What is racist? If a Swedish killed a German, than it was a Swedish. If a Cambodian kills a Thai than it was a Cambodian. That there is enough evidence that are at least attempts to bring in hired people from Cambodia. That some reds/black shirts got "military" training in Cambodia is already proofed.

It is not the Cambodian "race" it is just that Cambodia has a border with Thailand and Thaksin is good friend with Hun Sen. And Cambodian look very similar to Thai people. As well Cambodian people are poor (cheap to hire). That makes them a better choice for hired guns than people from Cuba.

The only racist thing in it, is that they look similar to Thais....While hired guns from Sweden could be seen easily.

How could the protesters believe that they could overthrow a government elected by the majority, destroy the democratic system and commit countless criminal acts... without consequences?

Could someone translate what this person is on about? Drinking(or perhaps drugs) plus posting on TV don't really go together.

Groundless accusation at work again.

Read & Instist on Proofs first

The assignation of Suthin was surely also just an unfortunate accident and has nothing to do with the Shinawatras. Also the reds burning down Bangkok, the filmed black shirts with the AK47 there, the Vans from Cambodia, the bombs....all fabricated or the anti-government movement did it themself?????????????

It was seem that the tragic incident involving the death of protest leader Suthin was a direct consequence of his then current actions. It is baseless to pin it on the Shins unless you have evidence that either TS or YS ordered his execution. Surely your western education must have taught you better than jumping to unfounded conclusions? Unless you were educated in [insert your country here].

Every time there is another shooting, grenade/bomb attack and other forms of assault against a Thaksinist critic, the odds that it was caused by his sycophants rises while the odds that all these people had business/family conflicts, annoyed some homocidal neighbour, or were attacked to raise sympathy, decreases.

Some people will never be convinced due to political bias, even as the list of victims increases daily.

Suthep is to bame and the red shirts , Chalerm and whoever actually did the killings are not? Freakin wacko's!

Your write " Suthep is to bame " & " Chalerm and whoever actually did the killings are not " I think you have been beamed around to much and some brain cells didn't get back in place on the last re-assembly.

The killers who shot the man are not to blame [sorry bame] must be too much access to mind altering drugs.

Maybe, if you pay me and handsome some..the above is like translating a Shinawatra interview for CNN.

It's called media. Rats eat any media they can. However, any loss is not to be chuckled at, no matter which side one is in favour of.

It is a sad loss for his family, no matter what TV posters think. These shootings, some at random, or previously meditated, only cause for boiling more anger.

I apologise for my use of 'meditated'. That seems to be something missing very much nowadays.

I dont need to SEE the world trade center to see what happened toit - just as I KNOW SHINAWATRA is behindd the criminal attacks on protestors!!

Its in responce to an earlier post that said Suthep was to blame.

Something I am finding very interesting.

Over the past few months of protests, there have been a considerable number of bombings, shootings, and deaths.

The army commander General Prayuth [sic] has asked for a stronger police response, investigating and accounting

The top Police General Adul, has asked for closer police enforcement and accounting.

Prime Minister and later caretaker PM Yingluck has requested stronger police coverage and investigation

Both sides of the arguments have asked for the police to do better work or at least a better accounting

The bombings, shootings and injuries surely by now number in the hundreds.

So the question is.. ?????? Where are the Police???

Have any arrests been made ????

This latest killing was reported by one news media report as the police when they got to the scene , estimated the victim was dead at least 3 hours. Is the closest Donut shop that far away ???

A open suggestion to Kn. Suthep may be for him to have some of the gang boycotte the local donut shops and not let all the police in..... apparently they are spending too much time away from the scene of all the incidents to apprehend anyone, even a suspect for any of the shootings, bombings, grenade throwing, beatings or other forms of death and injury.

So the ? is WHY NOT, What are you police doing...... looking foir helmetless motor bikers ??

IF the deceased was one of the bombers or hired killers then no sympathy should be given...

else, any life is cheap in Thailand for that matter.

many kill or get killed for petty stuff

The police? Since one of Suthep's main rallying points is how the police are worse than useless and must be reformed from top to bottom you may infer where their interests for the safety of the pretesters reside.
