OK, hmmmmmmmm, what ever you like, entered as an MG Mini Metro. Not drag cos that could be anything.

Don't know the engine size, probably around 3 litres but it was a V6, called the 6R4 or something like that? Built for homologation so it could compete in some rally event.

In UK it was 2.3 ltr. (I think)

Must not be any Aussies around today.

Ford Australia sold the Cortina with 2.0L 4 cylinders and the 3.3 and 4.1L 6 cylinder Falcon engines from the early 70's TC model to the last of the breed in the early 80's.

Oops, google tells me the olds Toronado I was thinking of had a 455 cu V8 mounted longitudinally.

Volvo XC90 had a sideways 4.4L V8

Cizeta V16T had a 6.0L mid-transverse V16.

Any others?
