Hi All,

My Thai girlfriend has lost her birth certificate. They gave her a copy but the translation office say to her that she must have a version signed by three members of her family + photo on it. Actually she has a different document. Can you confirm me that for a visa application, she must have this version signed by her family?

Can the translation office make the legalization also?

Thank!

VISA application is for Belgium and she is coming for living with me

This topic is already in the General Topic Section.

You can get a Copy of her Birth Certificate from her local Ampher. Just make certain that when you get it translated it has an official stamp on it, better to ask before you get it translated if they are an accredited translators/. The office is wrong you do not need 3 family signatures on it.
