Pantip Plaza used to be the only computer mall in all of Thailand. But that was 10+ years ago... today there are plenty.

There's IT Mall, which has a subway station (Praram 9) right in front. Big, lots of parking space.

There's Zeer Rangsit. Very big, out past the Don Muang Airport.

There's Seri Center. On the eastern side of Bangkok.

And there are numerous so-called "IT centers" in various shopping malls, although there aren't many computer shops in these.

In some provincial places, like Pattya and Chonburi, there are also IT centers now.

I hardly ever go to Pantip now. It's small, crowded, hard to get to (traffic!), very little parking space, and you constantly have people trying to sell you porn.

If you tell us where you live someone might point you to the nearest IT mall. If you just need a generic computer with generic video card/RAM etc. etc. there's no reason to go to Pantip at all - time and travelling expenses are often not worth money saved.

I'm in the Sukhumvit Soi 15 area. I also need to purchase a computer desk as well as a cheap desktop computer. So, if you can recommend a decent shop other than Pantip that has computer desks as well as computers, then that would be cool.

All of the supermarkets do cheap desktop PCs and furniture: BigC, Tesco, Carrefour, etc.

I'm in the Sukhumvit Soi 15 area. I also need to purchase a computer desk as well as a cheap desktop computer. So, if you can recommend a decent shop other than Pantip that has computer desks as well as computers, then that would be cool.

Thanks, i just got back from Fortune Town. Got the PC i needed but now i'm in search of a cheap computer desk. Problem is that i found some but they don't deliver. So, can't see putting it on my moped. Can someone recommend an office furniture store that delivers? Maybe a website to order from?
